Plan a day or two in New York City
Assignment:
You are to plan a day (or two) in New York City.
Points to remember:
· Your starting point is Beacon High, where you pick up your travel companions at 10 a.m.. Your day ends with going back to Manhattan, if you have been elsewhere.
· You must visit at least one point of interest on Manhattan and one in another borough.
· You must visit at least one point of interest that has a cultural focus, one with a citizenship focus and one that focuses on music.
· You may include places to eat etc.
· Your plan must include a travel scehdule, maps of destinations, details of how to get from one place to the next, a short description of the expected outcome of each visit, entrance fees, a full budget, pictures and useful links.
· All group members will be asked to give a detailed presentation (Friday) of the visit to someone, so make sure that everyone takes part in the planning.
